Widilostraße 5 (between In der Hohl and Zum Heller) will be completely closed from November 2 to 27, 2026. This is due to repairs following a broken drinking water pipe.

The renovation of the Hofheim roundabout (Federal Highway 519) is moving into its next phase. Starting Friday, October 9, construction will shift to the section between the Seilerbahn and Hauptstraße intersections. The work will continue through mid-November 2026.

As part of this, the roundabout will once again become the familiar one-way street. However, between the bus station and Hauptstraße, only one inner lane will be available for traffic. The connections between the roundabout and the streets “Im Anger” and Hauptstraße will be completely closed and will not be available as entry or exit points to and from the roundabout.

A planned pedestrian traffic light near the bus station could not yet be installed during the construction period. This will be completed by the end of the fall break. Until then, pedestrians can safely cross the street using the traffic light near the Esso gas station.

There will be a complete road closure near Jahnstraße 5 in Lorsbach from October 19 through October 30. Residents of Jahnstraße 5 through 38 will not be able to park there during this time. In the event of an emergency, the road will be cleared for emergency responders using steel plates.

The full road closure at Stormstraße 53 in Marxheim will be extended until March 31, 2027, due to the construction of a new residential complex.

The area around Bleidenstädter Äcker, Wiesbadender Straße, and Gräsiger Weg in the Wallau neighborhood will be completely closed to traffic from September 21, 2026, through November 20, 2026, due to moving roadwork.

Albertsweg, near house number 1a, will remain completely closed to traffic until Friday, November 25, 2026 (as currently scheduled), while new water and electricity lines are being installed.

Roofing work will require a continued full closure of Martin-Wohmann-Straße (near house number 2) until November 20, 2026 (tentatively).

The rolling roadwork in Langenhain will be extended. The Zum Eselshag/Auwald area, including the Limesstraße intersection, is expected to be fully closed in sections as part of the rolling roadwork until December 4, 2026.

A wooden residential building is being constructed at Schneidhainer Weg 4 on Kapellenberg. The road will remain fully closed to traffic for the construction site from Monday, August 31, 2026, until, tentatively, Friday, January 29, 2027. Altenhainer Straße at Kapellenberg, near house number 20a, will remain completely closed to traffic to allow for the use of a construction crane. The construction project, including the road closure, will begin on Monday, July 13, and is expected to end on Friday, November 27, 2026.
