Advent market
Visitors to the Hofheim Advent market can experience the atmosphere of the pre-Christmas period on the 2nd weekend in Advent. This is when the market takes place against the historic backdrop of the row of towers on Am Untertor square.
Over 60 participants, including schools, clubs, tradespeople and hobby artists, offer an attractive variety of gift ideas, food and drink. There will also be a children's carousel for younger guests. The opening hours are from 12.00 noon to 8.00 p.m. at the latest, on Saturdays until 10.00 p.m. at the latest.
In addition, the "Other Christmas Market", organized by the Hofheimer KulturWerkstatt e. V., takes place on Ludwig-Meidner-Platz on Sundays. Here, social and charitable associations draw attention to themselves and provide visitors with an enjoyable afternoon with lots of goodies and unique items.
If you are arriving in your own vehicle, there are parking spaces available in the Chinon Center multi-storey parking lot, on the station parking deck, Am Ambettbrunnen street, Lorsbacher Straße, behind the town hall or in the Hauptstraße multi-storey parking lot. However, it is recommended that you travel by public transport.
Market traders should only apply with Christmas items. Owners of wooden huts will be given preference. A recent photo of the business is an advantage.
Possession of public liability insurance is a prerequisite. The costs for participation can be requested by telephone - as well as the contact details of Hofheimer Kulturwerkstatt e.V.
Hofheim weekly market
Idyllic flair and freshness attract shoppers. In Hofheim am Taunus, the weekly market takes place every Wednesday from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm and on Saturdays from 7.00 am to 1.30 pm in the "Am Untertor" parking lot in the town center.
Fruit and vegetables, dairy products, eggs, fish, jams, baked goods, wine, delicatessen, poultry, sausages, meat and organic food as well as flowers are on sale. These items are complemented by the seasonal market that follows the weekly market.
For customers arriving by car, parking spaces are available in the Chinon-Center parking garage and at the train station. We refer to public transportation.
The stand fee is currently € 3.00 per running meter of stand length plus statutory VAT. Electricity costs are included. All spaces are currently occupied. Should applicants nevertheless apply, they should be able to offer a complementary range to the existing stalls. We will include them in the list of applicants. The application should be made informally, stating the product, the size of the stall, the electricity and possibly water requirements and the intended start of sales. A photo of the market stall is an advantage.
In addition, Metzgerei Walz offers sausage and meat products on Fridays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Recepturhof in Wallau.
Hofheim Gallus Market
The traditional Hofheim Gallusmarkt always takes place on the weekend after October 16. If October 16 falls on a Sunday, this weekend applies.
In alternating years, tumblers, a Ferris wheel, chain flyers and children's carousels invite you to take a ride on the amusement park. In addition to hearty food of all kinds, there is also a wide range of "sweet treats" and you can try out your skill and winning luck at the amusement arcades.

Operations close at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and at 22.00 on all other days.
On Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., many family tickets will be in circulation again. Anyone who secures this ticket will be able to ride on many rides at a reduced price during this time. Vouchers are available from the town hall a few days before the market.
The wine village with winegrowers from the region has enjoyed great popularity for years. Stylish, unique and yet completely independent of the weather, you can meet friends, neighbors and colleagues in a pleasant atmosphere. The focus here is on relaxation and quality entertainment.

The market traders and artisans will be presenting their range of goods in the city center from 10.00 am on Saturdays and 11.00 am on Sundays until 8.00 pm.
Most of the weekly market traders will also be taking part in the Gallusmarkt and will be opening their market stalls from 7.00 a.m. on Saturdays and 11.00 a.m. on Sundays, until 8.00 p.m. in each case.
Sunday shopping: On the occasion of the Hofheim Gallusmarkt, the stores open on Sunday from 1.00 pm until 7.00 pm at the latest.
