Wallau Community Kit
Der Bürgerkoffer ist wieder da: Im Jahr 2024 kommt das Bürgerbüro mit einem mobilen Arbeitsplatz, gepackt in den Bürgerkoffer, in die Außenstelle Wallau. Zusätzlich zu den regulären Sprechstunden können so an jedem dritten Dienstag im Monat von 9 bis 12 Uhr Dienstleistungen, wie beispielsweise die Beantragung eines Reisepasses, angeboten werden. Ausnahme bilden die Monate Juli, August und Oktober: Aufgrund der Schulferien findet in dieser Zeit kein Bürgerkoffer statt.
Specifically, the following services are offered:
- Apply for a passport and issue it once it has been produced by the Federal Printing Office
- Issuing a temporary passport
- Apply for an identity card and issue it after it has been produced by the Federal Printing Office
- Issuing a temporary national ID card
- Apply for an exemption from the identification requirement
- Register, change, or deregister a place of residence
- Apply for and approve transmission blocks
- Issue certificates of residence
- Issue household certificates for the child benefit office
- Issuing certificates of eligibility for medical examinations
- Apply for certificates of good conduct
- Receive and confirm declarations of withdrawal from the church

- However, due to low demand, the mobile service now takes place only every two months. The dates are on Tuesdays between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. The mobile service station is available at the following times:
- January 20, 2026
- March 17, 2026
- May 19, 2026
- September 15, 2026
- November 17, 2026
There will be no session during the Hessian school breaks.
Advance registration is not required. Fees must be paid in cash only.
