Die Stadt Hofheim hat einen neuen Leiter für den Fachbereich Kinderbetreuung. Seit dem 1. Juni kümmert sich Steffen Sander um die drei städtischen Kindertagesstätten „Am Steinberg“, „Römerlager“ und „Wandersmann“. Außerdem fallen die 20 Hofheimer Kitas, die nicht in städtischer Trägerschaft sind, in seinen Aufgabenbereich. Zeitgleich mit Steffen Sander hat die pädagogische Fachberaterin Faid Cekalla im Rathaus angefangen. Sie begleitet die Erzieherinnen und Erzieher der Hofheimer Kitas bei pädagogischen Fragen.
