Depending on the situation, you will be warned via various channels, for example via sirens, mobile loudspeaker announcements, digital billboards, radio or television messages, mobile communications (cell broadcast) or warning apps such as NINA, KATWARN, HessenWARN, BIWapp. In exceptional situations, we as a city usually also set up an information telephone.

Extreme weather conditions, a large-scale power outage or fires: there are various crises that can occur unexpectedly. Rescue and emergency services cannot help all companies, facilities or citizens at the same time in the event of a large-scale crisis. It is therefore advisable to take your own precautions.
