First City Councillor
Daniel Philipp has been First City Councillor of the district town of Hofheim am Taunus since January 1, 2024. He lives in the center of Hofheim. In the administration, he is responsible for the departments of "Climate Protection and Environment", "Urban Planning", "Transport Planning" and "City Services".
The latter is a new department that includes the building yard and municipal utilities. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Hofheim Wohnungsbaugesellschaft (HWB) by virtue of his office.
Vita Daniel Philipp
Daniel Philipp was born on June 8, 1965 in Werther, Westphalia. He studied sociology in Bielefeld and was a research assistant in the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament from 1995 to 2000. He then worked as a managing director in various sectors of the private sector. From 2010 to 2015, he worked as a freelance consultant, coach and mediator for the Berufsförderungswerk Frankfurt. From 2016 to 2023, he worked as a climate protection manager for the Main-Taunus district.
Philipp has been active in local politics since his youth - first in Westphalia, later in his new home Hofheim. From 2011 to 2015, he was an honorary district councillor on the district committee of the Main-Taunus district. He has also been a city councillor in the Hofheim city council since 2011 and has been the parliamentary group leader since 2016.
