Interested parties can use this portal to find out about the wide range of childcare options and register their children, including daycare centers as well as municipal, church and independent facilities that offer crèche and kindergarten places in Hofheim's city center and districts.

This online procedure means that paper registration forms will no longer be necessary in future. Parents can take their time to find out in advance about opening hours, parental fees and educational concepts and then submit an application for the facilities of their choice. Before children are admitted to a facility, there is a personal meeting between the child, parents and facility management. This is still expressly desired by all parties involved and is already common practice.

The portal offers three options for narrowing down the desired type, location and period of care: The directory search, the area search and the map search. In addition to the desired care, interested parties can select a maximum of four substitute requests in the registration form. The city administration confirms receipt of the expression of interest by email. It also informs the selected childcare facilities, which then contact the parents.
