Student parliament
Hofheim am Taunus has also had a pupils' parliament since 2003.
It represents the interests of pupils in Hofheim am Taunus.
The pupils' parliament is made up of one representative from each of years 5 and 6 of the secondary schools located in Hofheim who take part in the pupils' parliament.
The pupils are elected in their schools for a period of two years. The election takes place in the 5th school year. The schools with special needs participating in the pupil parliament decide on the class level according to their own assessment.
As with the children's parliaments, three meetings are held each year. There are parliamentary rules for the preparation and conduct of the meetings.
The main topics are similar to those of the children's parliaments, but also extend to the adult sector.
The Committee for Youth, Sport, Culture and Social Affairs in Hofheim am Taunus is informed once a year about the work of the children's and pupils' parliaments by means of a report from a corresponding working group.
