Barbecue and camping pitches

There is a public barbecue area at the Viehweide in the district town of Hofheim am Taunus. This can only be reserved in person at the Citizens' Office of Hofheim am Taunus Town Hall. This is not possible by telephone or e-mail.

To reserve the barbecue area, the following information and documents must be submitted for verification:

• Full name of the user
• address
• Telephone number
• Reason for the reservation with details of the number of participants
• Time and date of the reservation request

There are a total of 4 barbecue areas with a total of 16 benches and 6 tables. There is ample parking space at all locations. There is also a large garbage container at each barbecue area, which is emptied regularly. The barbecue and other equipment must be brought by the users.

The barbecue area is at least 75 percent full at weekends (Friday to Sunday) during the summer months. During the week (Monday to Thursday) there is usually still some space available. We recommend booking early in the summer months, especially before the start of the vacations.

All those who enjoy barbecuing will be pleased if each group leaves the site as clean as they would like to find it themselves.
