Bürgerkoffer Wallau
Der Bürgerkoffer ist wieder da: Im Jahr 2024 kommt das Bürgerbüro mit einem mobilen Arbeitsplatz, gepackt in den Bürgerkoffer, in die Außenstelle Wallau. Zusätzlich zu den regulären Sprechstunden können so an jedem dritten Dienstag im Monat von 9 bis 12 Uhr Dienstleistungen, wie beispielsweise die Beantragung eines Reisepasses, angeboten werden. Ausnahme bilden die Monate Juli, August und Oktober: Aufgrund der Schulferien findet in dieser Zeit kein Bürgerkoffer statt.
Specifically, the following services are offered:
- Applying for a passport and issuing it after production by the Bundesdruckerei
- Issue temporary passports
- Applying for an ID card and handing it over after production by the Bundesdruckerei
- Issue temporary identity cards
- Apply for exemption from the ID card requirement
- Registering, changing and deregistering your place of residence
- Applying for and approving transfer blocks
- Issue registration certificates
- Issue household certificates for the child benefit fund
- Issue examination authorization certificates
- Apply for certificates of good conduct
- Receive and confirm declarations of withdrawal from the church

Dates 2026:
- Due to low demand, the mobile service will only take place every two months. The appointments are always on Tuesdays between 9 am and 12 noon. The mobile workplace can be used at the following times

- November 17, 2026
The date is canceled during the Hessian school vacations.
Pre-registration is not required. The fees incurred can only be paid in cash.
