The core town and the six districts of Diedenbergen, Langenhain, Lorsbach, Marxheim, Wallau and Wildsachsen together make up the district town of Hofheim am Taunus. It enjoys a uniquely idyllic location on the Taunus slope between Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. A green island for living and working in the middle of the Rhine-Main region. • Our citizens' office processes around 80 percent of all administrative services centrally, from registering a place of residence, lost and found office, passports, parking permits, to buying theater tickets.
• Our tourism department has tips on accommodation, city tours, sights and restaurants. There you will also find city maps and maps for shorter walks and longer tours.
• Culture and events are our strength: the city museum, the city archive and the city library are always worth a visit. Our city culture department organizes the KreisStadtSommer and the theater programme in the Stadthalle. This is also a great venue for your event. And don't miss our biggest festival, the Gallusmarkt.
