Wallau

Wallau, which has a population of 4,195, was incorporated into Hofheim in 1977. The local residents are proud of their carefully restored old town and historic city hall as well as its many half-timbered homes.

Thanks to its proximity to the A66 highway (Frankfurt-Wiesbaden) and the A3 highway (Cologne-Frankfurt), Wallau also has a large business district with numerous companies, stores, restaurants, and, most notably, IKEA.
