Sports Club

One of the best things about living in Germany is getting involved in a sports club (Sportverein). Hofheim has over 50 different sports clubs for every different level of interest ranging from Aikido to Yoga.

The best-known sport facility in Hofheim is the Sportpark Heide, which offers two football pitches, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, and track and field facilities. In addition, Hofheim has a wide range of sporting options including: six sports facilities in all the city districts, 16 gymnasiums and sports halls, multi-purpose halls, outdoor and indoor tennis courts, shooting ranges, riding tracks and stables, roller-skating rink, football areas, motorcycle race track, playgrounds ("Meisterturm" and "Viehweide"), barbecue and picnic areas, game park, woodland nature trail, skateboarding zone, and hiking trails.
