Wildsachsen
Wildsachsen was first mentioned in 1107 in a document from Klosters St. Alban zu Mainz.
Today, the 800-year-old church remains the village's landmark. Over its history, Wildsachsen was shaped by the farming and orchid-growing industries.
Today, Wildsachsen remains the smallest of Hofheim’s six incorporated towns with a population of 1,688. The population was stable throughout the 1960’s, but the decision to open up a new building tract in the 1960’s as well as to improve transportation connections helped boost development.
